Here are our favorite things to see and do in Branson.   

                Some are well know, some not so well known. Have a look around as we have included photos, videos, information and links.
They are in no particular order.

The lusciously vegetated rolling hills and mountains stretching over the southern half of Missouri and northern end of Arkansas are called “the Ozarks.” This area is riddled with national forests, scenic water ways, more caves than you can imagine. It is absolutely gorgeous!  They are a haven for nature lovers. You don’t have to travel very far to find a great spot to explore. Whether you have just an afternoon or an entire weekend, adventure is out there and waiting for you!  

There are two well known bodies of water within Branson, Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo.

Bull Shoals Lake is also close to Branson.

Table Rock Lake was created during the 1950s. Since then, it has quickly become famous for world-class bass fishing, water skiing, and swimming. It has over 50,000 acres of crystal-clear surface water for you to enjoy, making it a must-see for your next Branson vacation.

3. Take In A Live Show

Branson is considered by many to be the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World”. I have personally attended many of the shows and have never been disappointed.  Regardless of your age or taste in music, Branson has something you will enjoy.  The variety of entertainment includes Bluegrass, Country, Pop, Oldies from the 50’s-80’s, Gospel, Traditional, as well as Current Hits.

4. Go Golfing

Branson is home to some of the best golf in the Midwest. For those who’ve never considered Branson a golf destination, it’s time to lose those preconceived notions and consider the area’s varied collection of courses. 

5. Experience Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City is an 1880s theme park conveniently located in Branson. There are acres of attractions that your entire family can participate in. The theme park is especially wonderful during the holiday season with over 6.5 million lights!

6. Shop Til You Drop

Branson Landing features a scenic boardwalk filled with shops along the 1.5-mile Taneycomo Lakefront. At the heart of the Landing is a vibrant town square terracing down to the $7.5 million spectacular water attraction that features the first-ever merging of water, fire, light and music. You will be amazed by the dazzling interplay of water Fountains shooting 120-foot geysers and fire cannons blasting, all choreographed to light and music. Water shows are hourly on the hour.

7. Float The Buffalo National River

Arkansas has a number of Float Streams, which are calm enough to just float at your own pace and enjoy the scenery . There are 15 such streams in the state and one of these streams is The Buffalo National River. This makes a great day trip since the river is less than an hour from the cabins.
